01-simple

Simple toys and play are important in the way kids learn. Blocks, in one way or the other, have existed for centuries and children love them and like to play with them, on their own or with their parents. It is an excellent platform for families to engage.

Exploratory work has suggested that this sort of ‘tangible interfaces‘ might be particularly suitable for engaging children in playful learning and that the link between physical action and digital effects might lead to increased engagement and reflection.

02-magik

Each block has a magic spell that irradiates a powerful energy detected by the tablet circuits…

No, not really… we use the iPad sensors… but the code wizard did her magic to create an app for your tablet to detect that energy when you bring together the blocks and the tablet.

Just follow the instructions and let the “magik” happen!

it's smart

Handling blocks requires spatial thinking, measurement skills, orientation reasoning and motor skills, besides the interaction and social aspects that come from playing in group.

It takes children away from the mindless tap and swiping on the screen to develop skills that are important foundations for learning several subjects.

Studies suggest that block skill is predictive of mathematical skill.
